Plan your next fishing charter aboard the MV Manutere out of Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, NZ.

The most rain I think I've ever seen in March

Well, no too much of a surprise that we didn’t get much fishing done last week.

The most rain I think I’ve ever seen in March.

We did get the Monday in, a nice day and we did ok, but couldn’t stay on a mark for long before swinging off, wind and current at odds again. It seemed to be pretty general, different depths and areas producing similar results.

With  so much weather coming from the  N.E., the next trip out will be interesting. If this doesn’t bring in some fish it’ll be a bit disappointing.

WHAT OUR FANTASTIC CLIENTS SAY

Brett & the Manutere, well i must say that over the last 8 years or more i have been out on day & overnight trips plus the TGA game fishing one base & charter tournaments  with Brett, you would be hard pushed to find a better skipper who will do his upmost to put you on the fish !!! & i mean go the extra mile !! literally, always good for a yarn, (fishing, politics, rugby etc etc,) & not forgetting the overnight trips tradditional continental breakfast, beans, eggs, bacon, toast, & a wicked coffee !

The Manutere is a solid fishing platform of which i have spent many enjoyable hours aboard, and hope to spend many more !!!!

Cheers Brett, till next time ! (soon)

    Hi, Brett,

Just wanted to say, on behalf of the House of Travel Boys , a big thanks to you and your deckie for such a great time.  The boys loved every minute of it, oh, I guess, apart from the few chunderers the first nite.  I know we’ll certainly recommend your charters to others who are interested in a great day out.  The boys got 2 bags of fish each to take home, which was a bonus.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers
