The good weather continues, and the fishing has been consistent, although a bit slower over the weekend in the 50/60m range.
We had some really small tides, only a metre between the highs and lows so maybe that had something to do with it, but who knows.
There was no shortage of fish, they just weren’t that interested.
It was better deeper, however.
Plenty of schools of kahawai around, plus more dolphins and there’s been slender tuna caught around the Mayor Knolls, which I hadn’t even heard of, apparently they haven’t been caught here for about 20 years. Interesting what shows up from season to season.

Brett, just a note to thank you and Wade for looking after us and helping with the filleting (well.... doing most of the fish).
Every one passes on thier thanks, and wishes you the best for the season.
