Well, June started nicer than May finished, with lovely weather over Queens Birthday weekend. Unfortunately we had our out of water hull survey that week and I decided to do a bit of painting while it was out [unbelievable but true] so no fishing this week either.
Still, if the good weather continues we might see a resurgence of interest.
I talked to a couple of fishermen who’d been out and had had good fishing, so something to look forward too.
Thank you for a great day yesterday. The trip was a surprise getaway for Robs 60th birthday and none of us had done a charter trip before nor can we fish for Terakihi as snapper, trevally and kingfish are target species in the Coromandel.
A most enjoyable day
Regards
Tanya
Dear Daphne and Brett.
I wanted to write to you to acknowledge what a great fishing charter you are running on board the manutere. We have been on numerous trips with you lately, and always returned home with fish, after having a great day out with Brett. We have found Brett to be very knowledgeable, friendly and always keen for a laugh. we have been on many different charters over the years, and the manutere rates very highly.
Ironically, I own my own boat, yet love a day out on the manutere.
Keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing you next time!
Kind regards,
Shane Janssen
They had a great time and a special thanks to Brett for making the day so enjoyable for them!!! Jordan has not stopped talking about his day out fishing and has been proudly showing the photos of his day to everyone he comes into contact with!! They would love to go out again next year if we return to the BOP if Brett would have them on board again!!
Regards,
Lynne.
