Some good settled, blue skied week was nice, although windy on Tuesday. We started close, got a few off Omanu, then trickled down to Town Pt, where we got nothing. The wind eased so out to deep water outside Motiti where we got snapper and a few tarakihi, then the wind picked up and time to go.
We had a quiet evening fish on an overnighter to Mayor, some snapper and tarakihi. The next morning was better, with 2 kingies, plus a good selection of species and a couple of bluenose on the ‘puku drifts.
Sunday we were outside Motiti, a nice settled day and good fishing, quite a few snapper and good sized tarakihi, red snapper, a good mix of species generally. Nice to get a few days in again.
Hi Brett,
This was a trip to remember , the company, fishing , and the way we were looked after was second to none . and I have done a lot of trips ,
I would like to thank You Brett and your Son Ben , Ben was an AWESOME deck hand , we didn’t need to do anything but fish and no matter where you took us there was fish there ,
The jigging for Kingi’s was un-real most of us have never seen this done , only on TV , but to do Jigging, hell yes it was fun.
Once again Brett thank you and son Ben for a trip that we will talk about for a long time
This is from the… BPT pig hunting Whanau
Cheers

Well, we are all home from a wonderful day out. This is a thank you to all the crew from all of us.
The whanau had a memorable and happy day out on the sea. Everyone caught a fish, so no household went without.
Also, thank you for being so good to our kids - I hope they didn't get in your way too much. But they enjoyed their day and had their own thrills on the boat.
It was a good day - and when our families do this again we’ll definitely be back.
THANK YOU AGAIN!!
Have an awesome and happy year.
Kind Regards,
Dawn A. Whare
