Queen's Birthday

Queen’s Birthday turned out to be a good day, no thanks to the 4 groups of no shows too ignorant to let us know they weren’t coming. Still the people who did caught plenty and enjoyed a beautiful day as well.

Friday was another excellent trip, and Saturday looked similar, but the light winds predicted weren’t so light so quite bouncy, but not enough to put off the fish [or the fishers]. So a bit harder work, but still well worth the effort. Sunday was back to calm and clear and another good day with more good catches.

We’ve had a lot more calm settled days so far than in quite a few years, so it might have been a wet autumn, but this time of year is normally good fishing and it’s nice to get the days in to take advantage of it.

WHAT OUR FANTASTIC CLIENTS SAY

  •

They had a great time and a special thanks to Brett for making the day so enjoyable for them!!! Jordan has not stopped talking about his day out fishing and has been proudly showing the photos of his day to everyone he comes into contact with!! They would love to go out again next year if we return to the BOP if Brett would have them on board again!!

    Regards,
    Lynne.

  • What more can I say but once again simply magic mate, The Northpower Rotorua boy’s head back inland with a bounty of fresh fish and memories worthy of a book.

We have utilised your services on a few occasions and each time has been memorable taking home more than our fair share of fish, but this trip was exceptional.

I have been charter fishing with various parties and skippers but never have I been on an overnighter to Mayor and been home by 1130am with six plus hours of fishing left and chilly bins full of Snapper and Tarakihi, needless to say you had 10 very happy Northpower fisho's.

Cheers to Ben and Wade for their assistance, and for creating a little healthy competition amongst us, and for putting up with Les and his goofy photo poses all good fun mate, what a fantastic trip.

In fishing terms Brett you’re all keepers that more than measure up, look forward to the next trip or ten.

    Kindest Regards
    The Northpower Rotorua Boys

Brett, just a note to thank you and Wade for looking after us and helping with the filleting (well.... doing most of the fish).

Every one passes on thier thanks, and wishes you the best for the season.
