Another one day week of fishing. It is all part of the game, when you have any activity that relies on nature and weather you have to accept it’s going be frustrating at times, but this is really starting to wear a bit thin.
Still, we’ve got a few days booked next week, so let’s see if October is a bit more user friendly than September has been.
We saw the first fleshfooted shearwater of the season though, so summer isn’t too far off.

Brett, just a note to thank you and Wade for looking after us and helping with the filleting (well.... doing most of the fish).

I wanted to write to you to acknowledge what a great fishing charter you are running on board the manutere. We have been on numerous trips with you lately, and always returned home with fish,after having a great day out with Brett. We have found Brett to be very knowledgeable,friendly and always keen for a laugh. we have been on many different charters over the years, and the manutere rates very highly.
Ironically, I own my own boat, yet love a day out on the manutere.

This was a trip to remember , the company, fishing , and the way we were looked after was second to none . and I have done a lot of trips ,
I would like to thank You Brett and your Son Ben , Ben was an AWESOME deck hand , we didn’t need to do anything but fish and no matter where you took us there was fish there ,
The jigging for Kingi’s was un-real most of us have never seen this done , only on TV , but to do Jigging, hell yes it was fun.
Once again Brett thank you and son Ben for a trip that we will talk about for a long time
