It’s been another interesting year, aren’t they all. We had good fishing from the new year, and the best winter in a long time up until August, and a couple of the wettest ever months.

Things started to pick up  in October, and  November/December have been as settled as I’ve seen, although as is usual the fishing’s hit and miss with the warmer waters coming down from the tropics.

The big moons have had an effect on the volatile conditions also, with some radical current shifts adding to the on again off again nature to the mix.

If the current conditions continue, it could be an exceptional summer.  I hope that’s not the kiss of death. I hate predictions.

Anyway here’s to a good Christmas and a productive New Year.

WHAT OUR FANTASTIC CLIENTS SAY

  • Hi Brett,

This was a trip to remember , the company, fishing , and the way we were looked after was second to none . and I have done  a lot of  trips ,

I would like to thank You Brett and your Son Ben  , Ben was an AWESOME deck hand , we didn’t need to do anything but fish  and  no matter where you took us there was fish there ,

The jigging for Kingi’s was un-real most of us have never seen this done , only on TV , but to do  Jigging,   hell yes it was fun.

Once again  Brett thank you and   son Ben for a trip that we will talk about for a long time

This is from the… BPT pig  hunting  Whanau

Hi there my name is Phil,

you took a group of  my best mates and I out on Saturday 24th of November 2012 for my stag do.

I couldnt thank Brett and the deckhand enough for such a fun and memorable experience. Even though fishing was supposed to be slow then and some of the guys werent keen fishermen everyone pulled in a few and had an awesome time.

Would highly recommend TMC to my friends and family and will be booking for future trips with you.

Big THANKS from Phillip, Kaye and the boys from Pukekohe.

    Hi Daphne

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks to Brett for the great day yesterday. Boys had a heap of fun, especially once over the touch of motion sickness, and were very thrilled to catch some fish. They are in the fridge for a feast tonight!

Hope to get back before too long and do it all again.

    Kind Regards
    Jo Davis
