Had a really good day, great conditions and excellent fishing

The weather has certainly settled in the last week or so and we got a few trips in last week.

We did the Middle ground and around Motiti on Thursday as the last trip hadn’t been too bad, but lightning sure didn’t strike twice, slow and hard everywhere.

Saturday we headed deep, out towards the Pinns, and had a really good day, great conditions and excellent fishing, so naturally we headed back out there on Sunday. Very similar conditions and weather, but the fishing had slowed down heaps. Still reasonable but a lot slower. From talking to a couple of other boats, it did sound similar in other areas so maybe they slept in with  daylight saving starting.

WHAT OUR FANTASTIC CLIENTS SAY

  • Good afternoon Brett,

Thanks for the memorable trip on Tuesday. This was a great experience once again and i have picked up some more tips which i can carry forward, your knowledge is extensive and you don\'t mind passing this on. Not only was the fishing great but i meet new people and have been lucky to share this experience with them. Even Kent the visitor from Australia enjoyed himself and the chilly bins were full of beautiful Terakihi which all the families have enjoyed eating.

I look forward to joining you again very soon on the boat on another trip.

    Thanks again till then. Theo

  • Hi Daphne ,

Please thank Brett for a great trip the other day

We didn’t get on to the Kingi’s on this occasion but we do appreciate the conditions were against us and we know Brett did everything possible . Still, everyone got plenty of fillets to take home and we thoroughly enjoyed the day

You will see us again and we will recommend you
