Great conditions, and productive hapuka fishing

Things are picking up with the better weather and work groups end of year bonus trips.

We've been going  outside Motiti but after 2 slower days we went out to the Pinns, which was a good move as they were considerably more bitey, and we had a few nice snapper as well.

We had a day bluenose trip on Sunday, and they were going well, with everyone  taking home at least  6 or more nice fish. They've been increasing in numbers for the last 2 or 3 seasons and the trend continues. We're also seeing more  bass and the odd hapuku around, after them being a bit hard to find for a while, probably due to the improvement in weather patterns.

The weather has been great, and continues to look settled for Christmas, so hopefully the long range forecast is right this  time around.

Hi there my name is Phil,

you took a group of  my best mates and I out on Saturday 24th of November 2012 for my stag do.

I couldnt thank Brett and the deckhand enough for such a fun and memorable experience. Even though fishing was supposed to be slow then and some of the guys werent keen fishermen everyone pulled in a few and had an awesome time.

Would highly recommend TMC to my friends and family and will be booking for future trips with you.

Big THANKS from Phillip, Kaye and the boys from Pukekohe.

  • Just a quick email to thank you for a nice fishing trip today. Very enjoyable. Weather was kind to us and everyone caught fish.

Hopefully will return to the Mount again next year, in which case I will check you out for another trip.

    Regards

    Alan Chamberlain
