We seem to have missed a lot of bad weather with our break in Cairns, so a double win. Ben had 1 good day out and that was about it, bad weather the rest of the time.
We had bookings for the weekend and got Saturday in, good fishing but the weather was quite volatile, some rain, and cross currents and more wind than forecast, so I canned Sunday’s trip, which turned out to be a mistake because it seemed we got Sunday’s forecast on Saturday and the forecast wind didn’t eventuate.
Still, it’s looking more settled for the next week and we’re getting more bookings as the days open up, so looking good for Spring.
Hi,
Just to say thank you Brett and Des for making our fishing trip last Sunday so enjoyable. You were both so helpful. We all had a great day and have been eating fish all week!
Thanks again

Hi, Brett,
Just wanted to say, on behalf of the House of Travel Boys , a big thanks to you and your deckie for such a great time. The boys loved every minute of it, oh, I guess, apart from the few chunderers the first nite. I know we’ll certainly recommend your charters to others who are interested in a great day out. The boys got 2 bags of fish each to take home, which was a bonus.
Thanks again.
Cheers
Paul

Brett & the Manutere, well i must say that over the last 8 years or more i have been out on day & overnight trips plus the TGA game fishing one base & charter tournaments with Brett, you would be hard pushed to find a better skipper who will do his upmost to put you on the fish !!! & i mean go the extra mile !! literally, always good for a yarn, (fishing, politics, rugby etc etc,) & not forgetting the overnight trips tradditional continental breakfast, beans, eggs, bacon, toast, & a wicked coffee !
The Manutere is a solid fishing platform of which i have spent many enjoyable hours aboard, and hope to spend many more !!!!
Cheers Brett, till next time ! (soon)
