A quieter week with a bit of rough weather forcing a Saturday postponement. We did get the Sunday in however, and it wasn’t too bad a day.

The conditions were a bit confused initially, but it settled as the day progressed. The swell and rain had dirtied the water in close, but it was good out further, and we picked up a couple more skippies on the way out.

We’ve caught more of them  in the last couple of weeks than in the whole of the summer. Not as much snapper, but still good amounts of tarakihi and trevally and a couple of rat kingies.

  • Just a quick email to thank you for a nice fishing trip today. Very enjoyable. Weather was kind to us and everyone caught fish.

    Hopefully will return to the Mount again next year, in which case I will check you out for another trip.
