A calm and clear week was nice, as was the fishing. A half day inside Motiti midweek was ok, with plenty of snapper caught but more undersize coming up than has been the case previously.
Saturday we went outside Motiti and picked up more good sized ones, and as a bonus also got a good number of tarakihi and red snapper.
Sunday was similar, and with less breeze than Saturday, conditions were even nicer.
No skippies this week though, the cooler weather looks like it’s finally moved them offshore.
We’re coming into the best time of year for bottom fishing, hopefully the weather’s kind.

Just wanted to say, on behalf of the House of Travel Boys , a big thanks to you and your deckie for such a great time. The boys loved every minute of it, oh, I guess, apart from the few chunderers the first nite. I know we’ll certainly recommend your charters to others who are interested in a great day out. The boys got 2 bags of fish each to take home, which was a bonus.

Hi there my name is Phil,
you took a group of my best mates and I out on Saturday 24th of November 2012 for my stag do.
I couldnt thank Brett and the deckhand enough for such a fun and memorable experience. Even though fishing was supposed to be slow then and some of the guys werent keen fishermen everyone pulled in a few and had an awesome time.
Would highly recommend TMC to my friends and family and will be booking for future trips with you.

This was a trip to remember , the company, fishing , and the way we were looked after was second to none . and I have done a lot of trips ,
I would like to thank You Brett and your Son Ben , Ben was an AWESOME deck hand , we didn’t need to do anything but fish and no matter where you took us there was fish there ,
The jigging for Kingi’s was un-real most of us have never seen this done , only on TV , but to do Jigging, hell yes it was fun.
Once again Brett thank you and son Ben for a trip that we will talk about for a long time
