Another saturated weekend, but we got another couple of days in midweek, with more good fishing.
The autumn and winter months are generally amongst the best for fishing and so far this has been one trend that continues. Plus we’re getting some great settled weather in between the wet days, so the keen anglers have been benefitting.
A fair amount of weather from the East and N.E. has meant the water temperature has been higher, and we’re seeing that as we’re still pulling in the odd skippie on the lures when we think to put them in.

Well, we are all home from a wonderful day out. This is a thank you to all the crew from all of us.
The whanau had a memorable and happy day out on the sea. Everyone caught a fish, so no household went without.
Also, thank you for being so good to our kids - I hope they didn't get in your way too much. But they enjoyed their day and had their own thrills on the boat.
It was a good day - and when our families do this again we’ll definitely be back.
