Another great week

Another great week with similar results to the preceding week.

The game fishing continues the run of marlin being caught and tagged, while the bottom and reef fishing was still on the slow side in both the shallow and deeper water.

On our last day out however, after planning to work the middle ground for the day, the sign and catch rate were non existent so we went outside Motiti and  actually found some good sign, the best looking in quite a while.

Even more encouraging, we caught good quantities of tarakihi  that were on the bite.

It’s been a bit of a different season all around this year, maybe now it will start to get a bit closer to the norm.

Hi there my name is Phil,

you took a group of  my best mates and I out on Saturday 24th of November 2012 for my stag do.

I couldnt thank Brett and the deckhand enough for such a fun and memorable experience. Even though fishing was supposed to be slow then and some of the guys werent keen fishermen everyone pulled in a few and had an awesome time.

Would highly recommend TMC to my friends and family and will be booking for future trips with you.

Big THANKS from Phillip, Kaye and the boys from Pukekohe.

  • Hi Daphne ,

Please thank Brett for a great trip the other day

We didn’t get on to the Kingi’s on this occasion but we do appreciate the conditions were against us and we know Brett did everything possible . Still, everyone got plenty of fillets to take home and we thoroughly enjoyed the day

You will see us again and we will recommend you

  • Good afternoon Brett,

Thanks for the memorable trip on Tuesday. This was a great experience once again and i have picked up some more tips which i can carry forward, your knowledge is extensive and you don\'t mind passing this on. Not only was the fishing great but i meet new people and have been lucky to share this experience with them. Even Kent the visitor from Australia enjoyed himself and the chilly bins were full of beautiful Terakihi which all the families have enjoyed eating.

I look forward to joining you again very soon on the boat on another trip.

    Thanks again till then. Theo
