Another quiet week with plenty of bad weather forcing more postponements.
We did get the Wednesday in, a nice day and the fishing started well with snapper and tarakihi caught initially but the current made itself enough of a nuisance that we ended up having to move in, as it picked up through the tide and ended up too much to cope with.
No shortage of fish in shallower, but most of them were just that….. short.
Another better day for the fish than the fishers.
Thanks for a fabulous day on the water. Just ate some great fish and washed it down with nz Pinot.

Hi Daphne
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks to Brett for the great day yesterday. Boys had a heap of fun, especially once over the touch of motion sickness, and were very thrilled to catch some fish. They are in the fridge for a feast tonight!
Hope to get back before too long and do it all again.
Kind Regards
Jo Davis
Hi there Brett, just a quick thank you for the lovely fishing trip we had today.
Myself my wife and parents had a fantastic time.
It may have been a bit choppy today but luckily my family didn't supply any extra burley and really enjoyed the trip. We have about 2kgs of Terakihi filets in the fridge which we look forward to enjoying tomorrow.
After trying different charter boats I have found Tauranga Marine Charters by far the best.
We really appreciate you helping and guiding my wife and parents who are first time fishers to get set up and get onto some fish.
Looking forward to doing it again sometime.
Many thanks
Aaron
